This journey started in 1987 when Dean Calapai started his first company Novatronics. As this business grew over the years, it was determined that paper driven job cards were inefficient, were requiring double entry and there was a general lack of visibility to what was happening in the field. No solution was available in the marketplace so in 1992 Novatronics wrote a DOS system ‘ Manager’. This was developed for the field technicians, enabling them to enter data in the field and print invoices on the spot. Fast forward to 2002 and Intellitrac is born. By 2006 mobile technology is available and new in house system job dispatching system was developed by Intellitrac’s IT team making the most of this new technology. Towards the end of 2013 i-Dispatch was offered to the public for the first time. Since this time the program has continued to grow and evolve to the great solution our clients have come to know and love today.
